Movin' On Up!

It is finally here! We are packed and on the move to Arlington, Virginia! Ryan's parents are driving the U-haul, and we are following right behind. We started early Wednesday morning and  have made our way through the SEC football stadium tour and had some of the best food of our lives. Our first stop was in New Orleans, and it was my first time to be there so Ray and Jana showed me all sorts of things!  I experienced Bourbon Street for the first time, and boy was it a sight to see! We went to Preservation Jazz Hall, Cafe Du Monde for beignets and stayed at the cutest bed and breakfast. I loved New Orleans, it was so fun! Our next day was full of lots of driving, rain and fun of course. We     stopped at Auburn and took a look around the campus, and of course had to check out the stadium. It was one of the most beautiful college campuses we have ever seen. We got some lemonade and a shake at the famous Toomer's Drugstore, and got back on the road. We made a quick stop to see Sprayberry BBQ in Newnan, GA and of course got a t-shirt! And our final stop last night was in Columbia, SC to sleep! This morning we walked around South Carolina's campus and ran by the stadium on our way out of town. We are getting close to the Virginia state line and Ryan and I are so excited to finally be in our new home! We are so excited to see all God has planned for us, but sad to leave our families and friends in Texas! Pictures and more to come in my next posts! And as one of our favorite Pixar movie says, "adventure is out there....", here's to starting ours!

Cheers!
